NSB 5865
NSB 5865 in the Bressingham Steam
Museum (UK) August 2002(Schichau 4216/1944) Delivered new to Norway during World War II, 52 5865 remained there as NSB 63a carrying its BR62 serial number, 5865. Withdrawn in 1958, it was one of 4 BR52s stored in a tunnel at Dransgal. It was then removed and restored for display in the UK at Bressingham Steam Museum (near Diss Norfolk). Along the way it has acquired the name Peer Gynt. The original works number (4216) can be seen stamped over the leading bogie and it should be noted that records for Schichau's numbering are very confused. (Schichau probably 4216/1944)
